FAQ
Got Questions? We’ve Got Fresh Answers.
How does the damp rod work?
Once plugged in, the damp rod warms the air around it and creates a change in air pressure in confined spaces. As the warm air expands and rises, stale air is pushed out with it and fresh comes in to replace it. This air transfer keeps the fresh air flowing in storage areas and confined spaces, and thus combats mould. It’s a simple and cost-effective way to keep mildew at bay!
Can RiteFlo damp rods be installed by laypersons?
Yes. They can simply plugged in and then rest on their footings or afixed to a wall in a closet or behind a bed. It’s that easy.
Do you provide home consultations?
Yes, if you’re in the Sydney metro region. We can come out to you to assess your needs and to recommend an appropriate product. It may be that you need something larger than simply a damp rod. If that’s the case, we might recommend a self-propelled ventilation fan or two. Call us on 02 9981 2210 to learn more.
